1.     You who are standing aside, covered up with your clothes.

2.     Stand up and warn.

3.     Give publicity to the greatness of your God.

4.     Cleanse your clothing.

5.     Distance yourself from dirtiness.

6.     Do not remind of favors you did because you find it a great deal/do not donate to obtain more/do not remind of favors you did to be able to do good even more.

7.     And for your God only be patient.

8.     When that trumpet is blown,

9.     indeed, that day is a very difficult, a very tough day.

10.  For the disbelievers, it will not be easy at all.

11.  Leave Me alone with the person I created.

12.  I’ve given him innumerable possessions.

13.  And a satisfactory number of sons.

14.  I have given him a wide range of possibilities.

15.  After all this, greedily he wants Me to increase even more.

16.  No, things are not as they are thought to be. He is stubborn against our signs/wonders/verses.

17.  I will drive him onto a steep road.

18.  He thought deeply about it; he calculated/considered.

19.  May he be damned, what kind of measurement did he use?!

20.  Again, may he be damned, what kind of measurement did he use?

21.  Then he looked.

22.  Then he grimaced, he frowned.

23.  Then he turned his back and assumed an arrogant air.

24.  He said: “This is nothing but a rumored magic spell.”

25.  “This is nothing but the word of a human being.”

26.  I will throw him into sekar.

27.  Do you know what sekar is?

28.  It won’t let anything remain; it doesn’t ignore anything.

29.  For humans, it is the one presenting charts/signboards/screens/it is the one scorching the skin.

30.  Over it is nineteen.

31.  And we have made the companions of hell no one but the angels. And we have made their number nothing but a confusion for/an instrument to test deniers. So that those who are given a book will know fully and evidently. And that the faith of believers will increase. That those who are given a book and the believers will not fall into doubt. And that the ones with sickness in their heart and the deniers will say; “What kind of example does God intend to demonstrate with this?” Like this, God leads astray who He wants/who wants it, and guides who He wants/who wants it to what is right and beautiful. Only He knows the armies of your God. For the human, this is nothing other than an adviser and a thought-provoker.

32.  No, it is not as they think it is. By the moon,

33.  By the night, when it turns its back;

34.  By the morning, when it breaks and shines,

35.  Which is truly one of the greatest.

36.  It is a warning for the human.

37.  For those among you that want to get ahead or stay behind/act early or be late.

38.  Every self is an equivalent of its own earnings.

39.  Except for the companions of good luck and abundance.

40.  They are in the gardens. They ask each other,

41.  Of the guilty ones:

42.  “What drags you into sekar?”

43.  They answered: “We didn’t pray.”

44.  “We didn’t feed the poor.”

45.  “We dove in empty words together with vain talkers.”

46.  “We were denying the day of judgement.”

47.  “Finally, the unquestionable and unexceptionable knowledge stands before us.”

48.  Their mediators’ mediations won’t bring them benefit anymore.

49.  What’s wrong with them that they turn away from the book that is advising and thought-provoking?

50.  They are like wild donkeys, running around frantically,

51.  startled by the lion.

52.  Every one of them desires being given spread out pages.

53.  No, there is no such thing. The truth is that they are not afraid of the hereafter.

54.  No, things are not as they think they are. It is an adviser/a thought-provoker.

55.  Who wishes to, can contemplate on it/can take its advice.

56.  And they cannot take advice, except for what God wants. He is the competent One to let refrain and to forgive.
