1. By the sun and the dawn when its light shines,
2. and the moon when it follows it,
3. and the day when it opens it wide,
4. and the night when it wraps it up.
5. By the heaven and the One who constructed it,
6. by the Earth and the One who laid it.
7. By the personality/soul and the One who shaped it properly.
8. And then inspired it with its corruption and carefulness/caution/wariness/refraining, for
9. he who purifies the self is truly saved.
10. But the one who pollutes it and covers it up suffers a loss.
11. The people of Thamud denied because of their going beyond limits.
12. When their most evil one rushed forward,
13. God’s messenger said to them: “Protect God’s camel and its right to drink water.”
14. But they did not believe the messenger, they overthrew the camel and slaughtered it. So, their God destroyed them for their sin and leveled them.
15. After all, He does not fear the end of that matter.
