to whom it may concern

1.     By the break of dawn,

2.     And the ten nights,

3.     And the even and the odd,

4.     And the night when it’s on its way.

5.     Well? Is there an oath in all this for those who have intellect?

6.     Haven’t you seen how your God dealt with Ad?

7.     With Aram, possessors of majestic pillars,

8.     for, among the lands, there wasn’t created anything alike.

9.     And with Thamud, who carved rocks in the valley.

10.  And with Pharaoh, the owner of stakes.

11.  These had, within countries, gone beyond limits and tyrannized.

12.  And there, they increased disturbance/poison/corruption/malice.

13.  So, your God poured the whip of suffering over them.

14.  Because your God is on an exact lookout/is ever watchful.

15.  As for the human, when his God puts him to the test by treating him generously and showering him with blessings, he will say: “My God honored me!”

16.  But if his God troubles him and restricts his livelihood, he will say: “My God betrayed me!”

17.  The truth is that you do not honor the orphan.

18.  You do not encourage to feed the poor.

19.  You are devouring inheritance greedily.

20.  You love wealth with an exceeding love.

21.  It will not go on like this. When the earth is crushed and leveled,

22.  When your God comes and the angels line up in ranks,

23.  On that day, hell will be brought. On that day, the human will give it thought and understand. But what good will remembering do for him?

24.  He will say: “I wish I would have sent some things for this life in advance!”

25.  On that day, nobody can inflict as His suffering.

26.  And nobody can bind as His binding.

27.  Oh, soul who has found tranquility,

28.  Turn to your God, pleasing and pleased.

29.  Enter among My servants.

30.  Enter My heavenly garden.
